What equiepment does my child need?

If they have skis, snowboard, boots and helmet that is great. If not, you can always rent from Trollhaugen. Please send them with hats, gloves, snow pants, jacket, extra socks and other warm clothing you feel your child will need.

Do you feed them dinner?

Ski Club does not provide dinner. There are a few options: pack them a meal that they can bring with them or bring money for your student to purchase food at the concession stand.  Some families have started dinner clubs, if you are interested in starting one post it on the Facebook Page.

Who runs Ski Club?

Ski Club is ran by two Ski Club advisors and some volunteers from the Main Campus. We ask that all Main Campus parents volunteer at least twice during the season.  If you volunteer we will destroy your $100 check that you wrote out at the beginning of the season.  Click on this link for more information and to sign up to volunteer.

How do I get a hold of someone with my questions or concerns?

Please email us at skiclub@mylila.org and we will answer you as soon as possible. We are always happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.

What is the routine for departure?

Each campus will have an equipment trailer being towed to Trollhaugen. The Headwaters trailer is white and the Main Campus trailer is black.

Families will need to drop off ski equipment at either campus in the morning.  HW students will be responsible for unloading their white trailer when they get to Trollhaugen. The white trailer will unload where the bus drops off and the black trailer will unload down at the bottom fence.

How many buses are there each direction?

We will have 1 bus from LILA MC to Trollhaugen, 1 bus from LILA HW to Trollhaugen and 1 bus from Trollhaugen to both MC and HW.

Parent volunteers will tow the trailers back to their respective campus with the ski/board equipment.

How does my student get their lift ticket?

  • Main Campus students: the black trailer has a mailbox hanging inside the trailer. When dropping off equipment put the student's season pass in the mailbox. Volunteers will get the lift tickets printed before the bus arrives.

We strongly encourage that you put the pass inside the mailbox or your child will be responsible for going to the office

       and printing their own ticket.

  •  HW students: the white trailer doesn't have have a mailbox hanging inside.  The Headwaters students are responsible for carrying their season pass with them & bringing it to the office to print out a lift ticket.
